Don Von Tress, writer of country mega hit ‘Achy Breaky Heart’, is set to perform on stage with the Louisville Crashers at the Greencastle Music Fest, in honor of the 25th Anniversary of the hit song. Songwriter Don Von Tress, originally from Greencastle, will be returning to celebrate the anniversary of his hit song, ‘Achy Breaky Heart’, with his hometown at the “Greencastle Music Fest” on August 26, 2017. First hitting the radio in 1992, the popular country super-song that kick-started Billy Ray Cyrus’ career, turned 25 years old this year.
